COED FORMAT
Following on from the initial Group Stages, teams will progress to one of two knock-out Cup competitions dependent upon their group standings.

CHAMPIONS CUP
The Top Two from each Group + the two 3rd-Placed Teams with the best records.

CONSOLATION CUP
The remaining 3rd-Placed Team + the 4th-Placed Teams from each Group.

All games are 25 minutes without a half-time - it's 7-a-side meaning a 'keeper and 6 outfield players. Of the outfield players, 2 must be female at all times.

If a Cup game is tied, penalty-kicks will then decide the outcome. These are best out-of-three before sudden death, as required. One of the initial penalty-takers must be female and takers must progress through each player on the roster.

GENERAL INFORMATION
NY Coed Base Camp will be at the west side of Field 84.

In addition to the referees, there will be NY Coed reps positioned at each field to answer general queries. Base Camp (BC), however, is the place to come for specific questions and for updates on the schedule and the standings as the day progresses.

We’ll have general First Aid kits at BC as well as qualified Medics in attendance. You’ll be able to identify the latter by their uniforms and players should speak to them if they have any concerns and/or injuries.

TEAM CAPTAINS: Captains should come to the BC prior to their opening game to sign in, confirm their schedule and collect their case of water.

WATER & SNACKS: We’ll have a case of water for each team and a supply of additional fluids and snacks available throughout the day. These are free but there is only so much we can bring to the field. You should, therefore, bring appropriate personal supplies for spending 5 hours at the soccer field.

SHIRTS: We ask that teams bring their own light and dark shirts. We’ll also have sets of shirts and pinnies on-hand.

WEATHER: It’s likely to be hot. We’ll have sunblock at BC and there will be shaded areas around the field.

If you have any specific questions, please email us. And just to note… while we understand the desire to win, it’s still recreational soccer and players should take that into account. Any individual displaying overtly aggressive behavior including verbal may be removed from the competition. Thanks for your understanding.
