CHAMPIONS CUP: It's Back In Summer 2010!
Following on from last year's bumper soccer showdown, we're pleased to announce that the Champions Cup is back in Summer 2010.

This is an all-day tournament on Randall's Island featuring coed teams from across the New York and surrounding areas.

The date for your diary: Saturday, July 17th.

AMERICA SCORES: Goals For Life!
America SCORES uses a combination of soccer, poetry and community leadership to help children fight obesity, learn leadership skills and discover how to translate the values of sports into other aspects of their daily lives.

NEW YORK CITY: It's Your Playground!
Even if you're not playing soccer with NY Coed (and why not!?), there are still a variety of opportunities to exercise and stay fit throughout the five boroughs.

These opportunities have assumed even greater importance in the face of a national epidemic of obesity from which New York City is not immune.

In fact, two out of three adult New Yorkers are overweight and even our children are at risk. (Nearly half of our kindergarteners are already overweight).

The consequences of being overweight or obese are serious and long term; you are more likely to get diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and cancer if you are overweight.
